Tissue Engineering

Tissue engineering is an interdisciplinary field of research that utilizes the principles and methods of engineering science and biology to produce biological substitutes. This can replace the tissue back to normal and it can maintain or improve tissue function.

The potential impact of this field is much broader on the future.Tissue engineering can reduce the need for replacement tissue and increase the production of drugs to treat patients, and in general resolve the need for organ grafts.

Tissue engineering aims to restore normal functioning of the tissues using live transmission of agents that are integrated with the patient. This goal that can lead to the production of new, physiological and functional tissue, it should include the continuous efforts of cell biologists, engineers, material and polymer scientists, mathematicians, genesists, immunologists and physicians in order to achieve the success.
